The weekend is finally here, and we cannot wait to unwind!

Here are fun things to do this weekend.

Music

If you’re into hip-hop, you’ll be happy to know that Eminem has released his twelfth studio album, The Death of Slim Shady. The album, which features his mentor and longtime collaborator Dr. Dre, can be seen as Eminem, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, letting go of his polarising alter ego, Slim Shady. One stand-out track, Houdini – named after the famous magician – touches on several controversial and bizarre topics. The duo mention the Sherri Papini kidnapping hoax, while Eminem also reflects on his past controversies over homophobic lyrics, suggesting that the “old” Eminem would find today’s world “gay.” 👀

Meals

The weather has been wild in the past few days, with the mercury dropping below zero, plus rains and flooding in some parts of the country. So, why not make a hearty butternut soup to keep warm? This recipe from The Clever Carrot takes only 30 minutes and is simply delicious. Or, if you’re in the mood for something more ‘homegrown’, try this delicious amagwinya recipe?

Replying to @Malumfoodie MAGWINYA RECIPE😋✍️ !!! IMPORTANT TIPS !!!! 1. Measure all your ingredients. 2. You can add more sugar if you like yours sweeter. 3. This recipe makes 8 medium sized or 12 small magwinya. 4. You can still achieve the same results without an electric mixer. 5. If you do not have a warm spot in your home to help with raising the dough, put the bowl with the dough in a sink with warm water. The water must be half the size of the bowl. 6. Apply oil on your hands to simplify the portioning process. You don’t really need the gloves, I used them because I did not want the dough stuck in my nails.🙈 7. Heat oil on high heat, then once the oil is hot enough REDUCE THE HEAT to MEDIUM and deep fry your gwinya for 15minutes. 8. DO NOT poke them with a fork while cooking as this will make them to absorb more oil. #foodtok #titoksouthafrica🇿🇦 #recipesoftiktok #howto #vetkoek #igwinya #breakfast #winterbreakfast #breakfast #amagwinya #pufpuf #food
